Guerilla Laneway exhibition 13 Dec
Guerilla Laneway Exhibition was up today in Murray Street Mall, in the lane beside Jay-Jay’s. Great bunch of stuff on display, not to mention great pizza and great ppl. Imagine if it wasn’t 39 in the shade today, it would have been even crazier. I’m looking forward to viewing the time-lapse of the event the organisers were recording.
Also I was quite surprised to see my AGDA AO Poster up on display from Semi-Permanent. Good times. Here are some pics.

Stop Motion Animation – Poker Chips
A stop motion I did using poker chips.
Music is “Lazy Bovine” by me.
Total time taken was about 6 – 9 hrs (if you include editing, camera battery going flat, waiting for it to recharge etc.)
Total number of shots = 1081
Read more for behind the scenes pics etc.
The Holga – Sprocket madness
I decided to mod the holga to take 35mm. Here are my first attempts. 3 rolls in 2 days!
Medium: 5 yr old expired 35mm film (KODAK 400 ISO)
Equipment: Modified 120 format Holga CFN
Extra ingredients – duct tape, foam and cardboard
The bright red rectangle is from not taping the back of the camera up properly… oops
I think once I worked out the process the images came out much better, although I wonder how much better it would have looked with a nice fresh roll of film instead.
