11.06.08ObamaramaFigured I might as well join the hype and whip up a caricature of Obama while its still hot! I'm really glad he won, I think he will be a great leader. I made a custom brush for this piece and it worked really well. Also decided to leave most of the underlying pencil work, which I personally feel adds abit of character and depth to the piece, especially when all the rest is digital.

10.03.08Nick Cave SketchI havnt done any proper drawing in ages so recently I've been madly trying to "catch up" on the past few months. Here is a pen and ink sketch of Mr. Cave from reference. Update: I had abit of fun with the original sketch on photoshop and illustrator. Heres a remixed version.

07.05.08Alias sketchbook proWell its now called Autodesk Sketchbook Pro but regardless of the name, DAMN. This is one hot piece of kit. Especially when combined with my Cintiq. I was up till nearly 3AM last night mucking around with these two bad boys. Here's one of my sketches - should really make a habit of drawing at 3AM... the inpiration gods r kind at that time. 14 more days till the trial runs out.. sigh

From memory, the large chap with the akubra was waiting for about 20 minutes at the bus-stop one sunday morning. The rest are a mish-mash of people I saw during the week.
