Liz from WA Roller Derby contacted me recently about doing some artwork for a compilation album and a promo poster. I completely forgot to take a pic of the album that I mocked up before sending it off. But this is the poster. This is the first time I’ve done an album or a gig poster so woohoo. Hope to do plenty more off the back of this. Heres a link to the event.
Me n the talented Jenna Downing hit the Dinosaurs Alive show at the WA Museum yesterday to draw some of the exhibits. Twas pretty cool, and I owe Jenna one for the idea bcos I would never hav even known about it otherwise. These are some of my sketches, and you can check out Jennas on her blog too.
Oh yeah and the pressure of drawing while a hordes of children crowd around you and their mums say stuff like “See Josh? This boy is an artist. My son wants to be an artist when he grows up.” is priceless lol.
The dinosaurs below are the Stegosaurus, Velociraptor and the Iguanadon. If you want to check out this show, it is running at the WA Museum in the city till March 7th. This is what it looks like http://www.dinosaursalive.tv/.
