Dr Sketchys 5 October 2011
Tried some of the new ink with the new brushes and watercolours last night at Dr. Sketchys. Ella Jezebella was the model. She did some voodoo priestess stuff and later turned into a go-go dancer. Not bad.

First caricature of someone as an animal. Apparently someone accidentally mistook “O’Squeal” as “O’Squirrel” and the name stuck. Gold. Also a box of cats for lulz.
Been sketchin alot with ball-point pens on brown paper lately. Pausing live tv at various moments trying to capture challenging angles and whatnot. These were some. Posted a few more caricatures in the same medium over on my new caricature blog.
Whoa!

I decided I needed to display all my caricatures in a single place, rather than scattered throughout multiple posts and pages. So I give you http://caricaturesbyjeff.tumblr.com
They are all there. More to come in the coming weeks. Enjoy
There appears to be alot of criticism over the new artwork that has gone up in Forrest Place. Personally I’m a little disappointed that every time a significant and innovative structure shows up- people complain about it. Remember this little thing?
Some lucky artist isnt sitting back after scoring an easy $1M. According to the project website the million includes “all design fees, travel, construction, insurance and installation costs”. That shit don’t come cheap
Engaged in swordplay, whilst perched precariously on a clifftop in North Beach this week. Don’t try this at home, cos you can’t.
Caricature of my good friend Jay for his birthday. He is fond of gadgets.
Came across this on the net the other day. Had to re-post.

While two hipsters nearby threw a hilarious hissy fit over being asked for ID, Simon and me churned out a few sketches. This is mine – in a sketchbook I haven’t touched in over 2 years. I took pics of it during the process so ignore the large gap of incompleteness in the middle.
Also if you wish to join, then join our modest sketchgroup on facebook – where we regularly post the venues for similar future antics.
This went down without a hitch, just like my pear cider. Ran headlong into some amazing new artists like this guy, and a couple of chaps from Last Chance studio.
I doodled up this mishmash of whatnot.
