Oh Jeeves! Here are some more sketches on craft paper. The characters below are Sir Roderick Spode, Brinkley and Wooster.
Some pics from the groupmeet on Saturday at Greens cafe in Leederville. I took the opportunity to try doing some live caricature again. Also an opportunity to try out my new Nikon 50mm 1.8/f D lens
We’ve managed to get a sketchgroup off the ground here in Perth. So far we’ve had two meets in the past two weeks down at Hyde Park. It’s been great meeting and getting to know all some new local new artists. Jump on the facebook group for updates for the next meet.
This time round i did caricatures of everyone who rocked up. Here are the end results from left to right – Toby, Ryan, Michael, Simon and Mel. Follow the links to check out their respective websites and amazing art.
Commissioned as a going away gift my brother and his workmates at Westpac for their friend Hayley who is moving to the country. Group caricatures are usually quite tough as not only do you have to worry about likeness but composition and interactivity between the subjects as well. Still, as long as win > fail I’m satisfied.
Adrien Brody caricatures. I used three different digital mediums here, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
All done by hand on my cintiq.
This is my contribution to the Ed Norton caricature jam over at drawingboard.org. He emerged quite easily when i first sketched him and I reckon that’s probably because I’ve watched Fight Club about 20 times
The first is my mate Ronny Amram who studied finance with me. He’s also a rock god. Check out his myspace page here. Then we have my mate Ryan
All done using flash which is a dream to sketch with (if u have a tablet of course). From left to right we have Jarrod, Jil, Jose, Jason, Rob and Rob.
