Two guys with full armour and weaponry came up on stage. They even staged a mock battle.. that drew real blood. Definitely made for excellent entertainment and some great drawing. I think last night had some of the best work I have ever seen at Dr.Sketchys to date.

Ella Jezebella was the model. She did some voodoo priestess stuff and later turned into a go-go dancer. Not bad.

Awesome as always – and a new venue too. “The Duke” put on a wicked show with lots of style and really cool poses.

Everytime I go I try a different style – either pencils, or pens, brushpens etc. This time I tried my Pantone markers to get down the tone. They bled like crazy and some of my other markers weren’t water-proof and got all caught up in the fun. lame

There are prizes, and audience participation and its quite a entertaining little package.

These are some of my sketches from last night’s show featuring Ms Kitty Von Ditty (aka Steve). Sometimes I dont bother trying to draw the model herself, but use her pose to do my own characters. The 3rd and 4th sketches are examples of this.


We had 2 minutes to use one of her poses in a Christmas theme. My snowman won me a free coffee from Source Cafe. Yay!
